S&G Clothing is the brain child of the design duo Sequoia Emmanuelle and Gita Salem. Founded in 2007, the San Francisco based brand quickly established themselves throughout Northern California and Pacific Northwest markets. Sequoia and Gita moved their headquarters to Hollywood in the summer of 2009 where they have launched a showroom in the heart of old Melrose.
Sexy, classic, dramatic and edgy. Sequoia and Gita reference a wide range of influences and their collections have a wide appeal to difference audiences around the globe. Hitting the urban, pin-up, tribal, hipster, classic, and couture memes, S&G speaks to the style ambassadors of today.
A blend of couture street wear, youthful evening wear, and vintage nouveau boudoir accessories, S&G has created a signature look that is acknowledged by taste makers internationally.

Sequoia Emmanuelle, a successful photographer and stylist in her own right, has cultivated archives of rich photography and video. Recognized for their ground breaking advertising campaigns and runway shows, S&G has developed a loyal and dedicated internet community.
Sequoia and Gita are always working hard to ensure that their company practices are of the highest moral standard. We use organic materials whenever possible, avoid toxic dyes, pay our tailors a fair wage, and are implementing fair trade standards. Beyond this, we founded the organization Fashion With Responsibility to participate in the dialogue about ethical fashion.
